SPARKLERS can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, we do not recommend indoor use on carpeted or otherwise flammable surfaces.
Not long ago, Sparklers were used only during fireworks holidays, on birthday cakes or at New Year's. Today, however, Sparklers have become widely popular at weddings, parties and other social functions.
Sparklers for Wedding use: Sparklers are often used by wedding guests to form either a gateway or a golden sparkling tunnel for the married couple to pass through or under. They are also used as party favors, and left beside each place setting. Large Sparklers, which burn several minutes, can be stuck into the ground to make a sparkling light-show effect at a wedding reception.
Guarantee of Quality & Safety: Our US Sparklers meet or exceed all UN, CPSC & NCFS requirements or recommendations. Unlike "wooden-shaft" or Bamboo Sparklers, which often flake off or break apart into burning debris, our steel-wire Sparklers burn evenly and consistently and leave virtually no residue. When you buy KABOOM™ Sparklers, you can be assured that you'll receive a safe, quality product behind which we're proud to put our name.
By carefully following our directions, Sparklers can be used in a wide variety of situations and even a first time user will feel safe and confident.
DIRECTIONS FOR SAFE SPARKLER USE:
- Always hold a Sparkler by its handle
- The first Sparkler should be ignited with a butane lighter or barbeque starter. Hold the Sparkler out horizontally, with the tip angled slightly down into the lighter's flame
- Sometimes, the first Sparkler is difficult to light. Subsequently, the easiest method of lighting is to ignite one Sparkler from another
- Children must always be supervised when using Sparklers. Teach them to hold the Sparkler by its handle, fully extending their arms in front of them and keeping the Sparkler away from clothing or flammable apparel. Keep children at least 6 ft. apart and do not allow them to wave Sparklers in each other's faces
- If a Sparkler is placed on a cake, do not try to blow out flame or lean in too closely: wait until the Sparkler is finished burning and then remove it by the handle
- The glowing rod of a Sparkler remains hot for some time after use: do not touch this even if the Sparkler has finished burning
- Prior to disposal, used Sparklers should be doused in water or allowed to cool fully in a non-flammable receptacle, such as a metal tray. Do not throw hot Sparklers into trash, as they may cause a fire
